Play :O

Yes, this early. I worry too much.

My sister says the play will probably be on late January, but I doubt that 'cause late January is YMSAT week and we'd be too busy for that. So maybe early to mid-February.

That means only ONE MONTH, give or take, to practice. I just posted to remind you guys that we still have a play xp

I'm going to talk to Ma'am Sagucio about the script, so we can start casting right away. I mean RIGHT AWAY. Yeah, I sound evil. >:D

I don't know. I'm just so excited for the play. I want us to do well. I mean, the plot's good and all. And this is another class thing. Maybe as fun as softball. :P

And, no pressure, but we have to take back Garnet's winning streak for the play. =))

FIL-NOLI

Imma post the Fil outline (thanks Marti :D) in case any of you (I lost my copy too :D) lost their copy. Jethro, you better check if my English translation is okay.

Kabanata 4:
a) Define the problems of the primary characters displayed by the author in the novel.
b) How were the problems resolved?
c) Was the date of the printing of the novel the same time setting shown in the novel?
d) Is the setting in the novel realistic? Prove it.

f) Pick your favourite scene in the novel and explain what happened and why you like it.
g) Why was it written by the author?

Letter of Resignation

Uh...
So by now everyone knows of the "Marianne-lost-the-class-funds fiasco" (We haven't been able to check with the photocopy boy in the 1st floor SHB, but if it's not there, I'm pretty sure someone stole it). And I've paid it all back.

My dad thinks it's best for me to resign (translation: my dad is forcing me to resign), and I think I should, because I don't think I can handle losing and paying back big amounts of money. But I still like getting things photocopied and giving it to all you guys, so I'm trying to find a way so someone else can handle the money.
So there, the position is up for grabs. (:

WTF? Voices?

The sentence can be in active or passive voice-- or just plain intransitive. A sentence in the active voice has the subject as the do-er of the action. In passive, the subject is the receiver of the action.
In intransitive sentences, there is no receiver of the action so it can't be active or passive.
Examples of Sentences
Active- Dick and Regyna ate the cake.
Passive- The cake was eaten by Dick and Regyna.

What do conjunctions connect? Your mom.

They connect clauses. There are three kinds:
Coordinating- FANBOYS
Correlative- come in pairs (example: either or, neither nor, but also)
Subordinating- Used to connect two ideas, one of which is less important.

WTF are noun clauses?

They function as regular nouns; they can be the subject, subjective complement (example: The Vatican, home of the pope, is a city in Rome.), the direct object, or object of the preposition (It is behind the bush).
They are introduced by relative pronounds (who, whose, whoever, what, whatever and in some cases, subordinating conjunctions like how, that, where and why.)

WTF are adjective clauses?

They modify nouns/pronouns. They are introduced by relative pronouns as well.
  • For people:
    who, whom, whoever
  • For things/animals:
    that, which
  • For time/events:
    when, whenever
  • For places:
    where, wherever

WTF are adverbial clauses?

Some things to take note of

I think it's time to announce that WE ARE EDITING THE CSS!
And since this is the class blog, I'd suggest that you guys start sending in palettes. Like a color scheme.
Preferably in HEX codes, 'kay? (:

I'll need background color, border colors, text colors, and of the like.
If you want an official list:
- Border Colors
- Main Background Color (is black, so don't make it)
- Text (nothing that contrasts too little or too much with the background color of the entry)
- Background Color of the blog entries, links box, and profile box
- Color of the links, links when you hover, and visited links
- color of the entry post/date/author of post
- color of bolded text, italicized text, and two colors for underlined text
- border of blockquote text, color of blockquote text, and background color of blockquote text

If you don't understand any of the aforementioned categories, then you just look for me at school.
If nobody passes, then I'll have to decide for myself. But then if you guys decide it doesn't look good, then I'll take it down.

Because I'm not gonna force anything. And then if enough of you don't wanna change the blog skin then I won't.

How do I make a poll?
Maybe we can have a vote in homeroom.

More homeworks + some suggestions! :D

Basically just an extension to Marianne's post. I just wanted to post XD

  • Health perio on Tuesday. That thick handout thing, read it all. =)) I think Javi's gonna get it photocopied again.
  • The 15x20 drafting plate is due tomorrow.
  • The people who haven't passed the newspaper--pass it. :(
  • Techprep labrep \:D/ Not sure when this is due.
  • Oh yeah, we might play at the flagcem tomorrow, so bring your recorders and try to remember the right notes. What are we playing again? =))
... I guess that's it.

Can we have an exchange gift? Pleeease? :D With the draw-lots and all. Can we use codenames?? It's more fun that way XD

I wanna edit the blog's CSS >____>
